Overcast, changed headlight before leaving. heavy moisture (humidity) sun out in danbury. looks like some rain in ny but ok now. as approached penn, picked up a couple of sport bike squids, ct tags. triumph was one switched up in who was leading. I led for a bit at pennbrok, res and flooded under pass. water to bottom of bridge river flooded to tree branches lost squids when they were trying to figure out if they needed gas heavy rain east of dubois. stopped to put on gear after rain, guy on harley camped in left lane. when I shifted right, he slowly did too. bright t-shirt, vest 3 mile backup, harley (old) went by on shoulder so i followed biker by backup without a fuss. split a semi second backup was quicker though stopped for gas, removed rain gear. got back on road. as approaching ohio, big rainstorm to the south. good thing I missed it. lightening bolts (2) in first big storm. made it to other side of akron to camp nice site, few mosquitoes talked to group, guy flew plane to martinsburg but caught by weather and had to leave it. leaving in morning to get plane.
