Creating a Workbench

Moved the laminate. I used a router to trim the top to size and make the edge flat.

A box of hardware arrived. Handles, hinges, and drawer slides. I have to buy the screws and washers though.

Ok, back to the drawers. I drilled and mounted the bottom hardware to the drawers.

Oh, and I glued the laminate down to the top. I used rubber cement on both sides. Looks pretty good.

The first drawer installed. Doesn't quite move smoothly so I had to make a few adjustments.

Now all the drawer slides are installed and you can see the drawers have their hardware.

Second picture. I was trying to wipe off the sawdust and realized that they're floaters. Sawdust suspended in the air.

There, that's better. One problem is that the sides of the cabinet are about a quarter inch too wide.

Attaching the faces to the drawers. I had to work from the bottom to make sure there was sufficient room between the faces.

And all installed. I also decided not to screw the handles just to the faces as planned but went and bought longer ones so they'd go all the way through.
