A day snowboarding

These are all links to 4 meg movie files. I try to give a brief description of each and note the better views in order to keep the bandwidth to a reasonable level. Of course Jasmine or other family will probably download all the movies :)

These are Rita in the snowboard training area.

After lunch, Rita and I went over to a slow area so she could practice. Most of these shots are from me skiing backwards. The few times the camera moves off of Rita, I'm looking behind me to make sure I'm not running into a tree or anything.

• Slow ride down hill. Checking balance and off to the right.
• She went around behind me so I had to turn around and catch up as she fell.
• She didn't think this was where the class was earlier. It was over there.
• A couple of pretty good turns and then, oops, down she goes.
• A slight slide down and to the left.
• Yak yak yak. No sound on this digital camera.
• A little farther away from the camera. Nice run though.
• Nice turn and "oh, my aching back".
• Again a bit farther away.
• A slow ride down the hill.
• The best one. A nice run, a turn and then a fall.
